Recreation Swim Team CARD has teamed up with local high school and masters swim coach, Christine Lockhart, to bring a Recreational Swim Team to Chico. The goals of the program are to create a fun and healthy atmosphere where your child can experience what it's like to be a part of a group swim team, and teach them about competitive swimming. Swimmers will also be able to drop in for $3 per day if they are unable to commit to the entire session. Participants must be able to swim a lap in the pool unassisted. Program will be held at Shapiro Pool.
The AquaJets Swim Clinics are a Chico tradition for children ages 4 and up with beginning to advanced swimming skills. Prepare your child to be safe in the water this summer, or prepare them for the AquaJets. The perfect way to get your kids ready for the hot Chico Summer! Under the direction of the Chico AquaJets Professional Coaching Staff, small groups work with coaches on learning or refining the four competitive swim strokes.Participants will also learn water safety, play fun water games and race against other participants.This is a swim clinic for swimmers who are comfortable in the water, not for non-swimmers. A year round competitive swim team for children ages 5 and up. The AquaJets encourage, enhance and provide a competitive swimming experience for the entire spectrum of swimmers from the beginner to the more experienced. It also offers a highly rewarding and FUN group experience in the sport of swimming. Swimmers can join at any time throughout the year.
