CARD has teamed up with local high school and masters swim coach, Christine Lockhart, to bring a Recreational Swim Team to Chico. The goals of the program are to create a fun and healthy atmosphere where your child can experience what it's like to be a part of a group swim team, and teach them about competitive swimming.Swimmers may also drop in for $3 per day if they are unable to commit to the entire session. Participants must be able to swim a lap in the pool unassisted.Program will be held at Shapiro Pool.

Chico AquaJets Swim Team A year round competitive swim team for children ages 5 and up. The AquaJets encourage, enhance and provide a competitive swimming experience for the entire spectrum of swimmers from the beginner to the more experienced. It also offers a highly rewarding and FUN group experience in the sport of swimming. Swimmers can join at any time throughout the year. Are you ready for an Extreme Experience? If so, then prepare yourself for a two-week adventure camp that includes water safety and boating skills, CPR and First Aid training, hiking, swimming trips, a full day at the Forebay with canoeing, kayaking and more.
