Little Hoopsters Basketball Program *Improved Format (K-2nd)
This instructional program is open to all youth in K-2 grade. Coaches will work with players the first 2-3 weeks to introduce the sport of basketball using basic skill techniques and formations. The last 3-4 weeks there will be 20 minute practices and a formal 40 minute game each day. Fundamentals and simple game strategy will be taught throughout the entire program. Show up the first day and be ready to play! You will not be contacted by a coach for this program. Community Park Field. General youth sports jersey is optional, but highly recommended (jersey can be purchased at the CARD Office for $12).

Elementary Basketball League (3rd - 6th)
For the Love of the Game! Join this league, and have your child practice fundamental to advanced skills including footwork, rebounding, defense and offensive skills once a week with their team at practice. They will then incorporate all these skills in their game on Saturday! Practice times and location (practices will be held outside due to limited gym space) will be determined by your volunteer coach and will begin the second week in December. Divisions are designated by gender and grade level. Score is not kept at the 3rd/4th grade level. All teams will be formed using the team formation policy. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE, application can be picked up at the CARD office. NO GAMES OR PRACTICES DURING CUSD WINTER BREAK. General youth sports jersey mandatory (jersey can be purchased at the CARD Office for $12)
Boys and girls will be in separate leagues. If numbers permit, each grade will be a separate league. This will be determined after the registration deadline. Please remember that due to the high number of participants, no special team formation/practice time requests can be honored.

| Junior High Basketball Leagues (7th-8th)
For the LOVE of the game! Don't let your child's love of basketball end once they hit jr. high! Teams will practice once per week with games on Wednesday and/or Friday. Game times are one hour and between 4pm-8pm. These will be competitive leagues with all participants receiving playing time. All teams will be formed using the team formation policy! SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE, application can be picked up at CARD office. NO GAMES OR PRACTICES DURING CUSD WINTER BREAK. A jersey is included in the cost of registration

Coaches will contact all registered players by Sunday, November 6th! Practices will start the week of November 7th.
If you are not registered, you can get on our waitlist to get into the program by calling the CARD Office at 895-4711. We look at the waitlist daily to fit as many kids onto team as possible.

In order to register online, you will need your team's Login ID and Team Pin.
If you are a returning team and you do not have this information, you can either contact the CARD Office at 895-4711, or you can click on the Forgot My Pin after you have added the program to your basket, and the information will automatically be emailed to you.
If you are a new team, you will need to contact the CARD Office prior to registering online to set up an account.

Basketball Hours
Come out and get some time on the courts in our Open Gym Basketball. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Provide your own ball and pay $3.00 at the door.

Referee or Umpire?
CARD is always taking applications for qualified and experienced umpires. Not experienced, but interested in learning? Start out as a field supervisor and work into different sports through trainings provided by CARD. Please turn your application in to the CARD office, along with your resume of experience and sports you are interested in.
Sports League Registration and Roster Information
League Information, registration dates and rule packets: All league information will be posted on our website and at the CARD Office a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the registration deadline. CARD will do everything possible to keep dates similar from year to year. However, minor changes are possible.
Each league has a set number of spaces available for teams. Those numbers are determined by field or facility availability, night of play and level of ability.
All nights and locations listed are subject to change at the discretion of the sports department.
Roster Requirements: All players must sign a CARD Roster or Add/Drop form.
