Game Making for Kids

This class gives students an introduction to the fundamentals of game development.  Over the duration of the class kids will be introduced to concepts including basic programming logic and level design.  This course is designed to be fun and utilizes a simple game making engine that will allow kids to start creating their own game worlds very quickly and easily. Introduction to Game Programming

Simple Email

Level 2 Class: This course is an introduction to electronic mail. Students will learn how to create an Email account, how to sign in and out of their account, how to compose and send messages, how to delete and recover mail, how to reply and forward mail, how to send an attachment, how to filter spam, how to print an Email and much more. This course will also teach students how to protect themselves from phishing and fraud. No prior experience with Email is required, however basic computer literacy is encouraged. Joy of Computers, Part 1

Level 1 Class: Want to learn how to use a computer? Then this easy-to-follow class is designed specifically for you. We will cover basic computer concepts, how to use a mouse, how to use the keyboard, and how to customize your system. Students will also learn how to send emails, navigate a web browser, and safeguard against malware. Students may bring in their own laptops/tablets or use one of our desktops. Step-by-step instructions are provided and no prior computer knowledge is required, but having a home computer to enjoy what we learn would be beneficial. This class is taught on PCs and is not suitable for Apple users.
