Refunds and Transfers for Cooking Classes: Because perishable supplies are purchased for these courses, all cancellations and transfers MUST be received 48 hours prior to the class. If a cancellation or transfer request is received after the deadline, we are only able to issue refunds if we are able to fill the spot.
Whole Food Plant Based Holy Days

Kick off the holiday season with freshly baked holiday sweets and treats from around the world. Discover various new and time honored baking techniques and traditions while sampling candy and dessert recipes perfect for serving this holiday season. You’ll try your hand at creating your own perfect treats too. Let the holiday baking begin! Instructor: Michelle Gates. CARD Community Center, Kitchen. Mushroom ID and Walk
Curious about the wondrous world of mushrooms? There is a remarkable array of colors and shapes and uses for those who are willing to discover them. We will have an indoor presentation to learn some identification characteristics, learn some of the poisonous ones, some useful (medicinal and dye) and then learn some of the edible ones from our area. Once we gain some knowledge we will spend the last hour walking around Cedar Grove and see what the rain (we hope!) conjured up. Of course, mushrooms are fickle and mysterious, and their appearance cannot be guaranteed. While this is geared more for adults, interested children are welcome to sign up. Instructor: Sherri Scott.
