Yoga and Tai Chi
Feeling stressed? Low on energy? We have just the class for you! For centuries, people have been using yoga to enhance the body and mind. Yoga has been known to reduce stress and increase energy, as well as improve muscle tone and flexibility. This yoga class is suitable for the beginner as well as those who have taken yoga classes before. You will learn basic yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation, and relaxation. Wear loose clothing, bring a towel or mat and refrain from eating for 2 hours prior to class. Instructor: Tulya McLaughlin. CARD Community Center, Multi-Purpose Room. Gentle Integral Yoga
Do you want all the health benefits of yoga at a slower and gentler pace? This class is suitable for beginners, seniors, or anyone who is interested in a slower-paced class. You will receive in-depth instruction on yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation, and deep-relaxation. Tai Chi - Serenity Through Movement
Has your life become too hectic? Do you feel sluggish and without energy? Tai Chi is the movement of the human body, mind and spirit in harmony with nature. Tai Chi helps students achieve balance by slowing down the “too speedy” and energizing the “too slow.” Our students have reported a calmer mind, happier mood, decreased tension, increased power, and improved coordination.
