Simple Self Defense
In a fun atmosphere, participants will have the opportunity to interact with other students and practice the skills necessary for self-defense. Situational awareness, balance and striking, as well as ways to escape from dangerous grabs and holds will be taught. Students will learn at their own pace and have the opportunity for continual growth in this ongoing class. Instructor: Master Vince Scocozza. CARD Community Center, Room 1&2. No class 5/29.
In a fun atmosphere, your child will learn how to make good choices and learn positive social skills such as sharing with others and become better listeners. Your child will also have an opportunity to improve their physical coordination with different Kung-Fu drills. Instructor: Master Vince Scocozza. CARD Community Center, Room 1&2. No class 7/4.
Kung-Fu San Soo
In a fun atmosphere, your child will learn self-confidence, agility, and physical and mental conditioning. Making good decisions at home and school is emphasized. Instructor: Master Vince Scocozza. CARD Community Center, Room 1&2. No class 5/29 or 7/4.

Adult Kung-Fu San Soo-Self Defense
Kung-Fu San Soo is not a sport. This class offers extremely effective ways to deal with personal attacks utilizing punches, kicks, throws and leverage. This is a fun class that educates you while giving you realistic solutions for emergency situations. Instructor: Master Vince Scocozza. CARD Community Center, Room 1&2. No class 5/29.
Fencing can be described as “the sport of the sword.” It is the modern take on the art of knightly combat, mixed with swashbuckling musketeers and Victorian duel. The modern Olympic fencer trains to develop agility, quickness and subtlety of movement. Please wear a t-shirt, sweats and tennis shoes. Equipment will be provided for the first month only. The historical fencing class is focused on the art of the Knightly sword fight. Classes practice forms of sword fighting used in the 12th-16th centuries, from various historical texts. The class will focus on the Longsword, Rapier, Sword and Buckler (1.33), and sword and shield. Please wear a t-shirt, sweats, and tennis shoes. Equipment will be provided for the first month only. All students must purchase a non-competitive USFA membership for $10.00 which is good for the fencing year (8/1/16-7/31/17). This will be handled on the first day of class.
