Sew You Want to Learn How to Sew

Learning to sew is fun and a dynamic lifelong skill. If you are a beginner, this class is for you! You will learn basic stiches, sewing terms, and how to use your machine. Students will make a pillowcase and a fashion handbag. Please bring your own machine in good working order. (Some machines available for rent, reserve at registration.) Parent/Child Sewing Class

Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas- bring your child or grandchild and sew together.  In this basic class, adult/child teams will learn foundational sewing techniques while making a pool-time towel tote.  Bring your machine (one per pair) in good working order. Sewing: Picnic Lunch Mats

Enjoy a lovely outdoor meal on stylish picnic-ready placemats you sew yourself.  Slip your utensils and napkin into their pocket, roll up the placemat and head off to the park.  Prerequisite: Learn to Sew Class 1 or equivalent. (Bring your own machine in good working order. Some machines available for rent, reserve at registration.)   Instructor: Judy Christophersen.
