How to Talk so Kids Will Listen

This is a parenting class that helped me tremendously when I had young uns.  Authored by and based on the best-selling, award winning books by Faber and Mazlish, this 7-week presentation includes 7 skills:  helping your child develop a realistic and positive self-image, setting limits while maintaining goodwill, coping with your child's negative feelings, expressing anger without hurting, engaging willing cooperation, resolving conflicts peacefully and creating a family atmosphere of love and respect.  This class is designed by the authors to be engaging and illuminating.  Materials fee of $40 payable to instructor at first meeting. Instructor: Eartha Shanti.  PV Recreation Center (2320 North Avenue).  No class 5/29.
