Introduction to Computers, Level I

This class teaches basic computer operation from the start.  Learn about mouse operation, the keyboard, saving files, icons, menus, and more during this class. Bring a friend and sign up together. Have fun on your new adventure into the computer world. Students must bring their own laptop and power cord to every class. This is a great class for those people with a little computer knowledge. Learn about some of the programs you have on your computer, the Internet, and email. We will tap into your level of computer  Knowledge and move on from there. This class will pick up where you left off and move you forward to your next goal. It's time to start enjoying your laptop again. Introduction to Computers, Level III

Push further ahead from what you've already learned in the Level II class. Download and use free word processing as well as other apps. Save pictures from your phone or camera, put clipart into documents, and learn about the shortcuts and tips your  computer has to offer. Discover how to search and use the Internet for information, i.e., movie times and ticket reservations. Order and shop online and use Craigslist. Students must bring their own laptop and power cord to every class. This class is taught on laptop computers with Windows operating systems and is not suitable for Apple users. Instructor: Bill Bowler, Lakeside Pavilion.
