Instruction includes painting and drawing in many mediums such as charcoal, watercolor pencils, tempera paints and collage. Do you have friends that know how to knit or crochet and are always making cool things to wear? Well, now is your chance! You too can learn to knit or crochet. In Knitting for Beginners, you will learn the basics of knitting from "casting on" to making easy patterns with knit and purl stitches to "binding off." In Crochet for Beginners, you will learn how to work stitches, rows, rounds and easy patterns. In either class, you will complete a quick and easy beginner's project. Please bring a ball or skein of sport weight or thick cotton yarn in light bright colors, so your stitches will be easier to see.
