Urban Pole Walking

Put your body to good use with a single exercise! Walking with poles is a simple, accessible and enjoyable total body exercise. With each stride, you will work every major muscle group. You will be guided through the steps of this increasingly popular pole walking technique. You don't work harder; you work smarter. Poles provided for use in class. Chico Baby and Me Stroller Fitness

Calling all moms and babies! This class allows you to mix your love of exercises with the joy of motherhood. Classes combine strength training exercises with cardiovascular drills. Your stroller, resistance bands and even your child are used in the workout. Come and meet other moms and interact with your child(ren) while getting fit. Children of all ages are welcome. Please bring a stroller, mat/blanket, water, sneakers, yourself and your child(ren). For more information log on to www.chicobabyandme.com. Zumba!             

Catch the Zumba fever! This new workout has hit the country by storm. One hour of dancing, and you will get a great workout while having fun. Zumba combines Latin and international music with dynamic, yet simple exercise moves. Zumba motivates the body to efficiently burn calories, tone all muscle groups and improve the cardiovascular system. Instructor: Sara Camara, certified Zumba instructor. Just for Women-Gravity Training              New

Avoid the cost of a gym membership and get one-on-one strength training with a certified personal trainer using the Gravity Training System. This is a system that incorporates a cable and pulley system. You will be doing functional strength training in all planes of motion. The GTS utilizes your body weight supported by the glide board that allows an enormous number of functional body positions challenging your core and major muscle groups. The squat stand offers biomechanically correct movements for the lower extremities if performed properly. This is individualized instruction catered to your needs. Great way to tone up those legs! Joyful Yoga for Seniors

If you want to increase your strength, flexibility, coordination and agility, this gentle chair yoga class is for you. Tai Chi for Health and Harmony
  

Tai Chi is a moving meditation that engages the whole person: body, mind and emotions. Students learn movement that train balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. Fun & Fit

This class emphasizes fun while getting fit!  Starting with a gentle stretch you will prepare your body for exercise and encourage strengthening and flexibility of the body. Then move into a more active exercise program where emphasis will be placed on increasing your heart rate by using chair aerobics and weight work to strengthen and tone your muscles.
