American Sign Language - Beginning I
Want to learn a beautiful language and have fun? In this class, you will learn to communicate with your hands. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will have enough vocabulary to carry on a basic American Sign Language conversation. You will learn the manual alphabet, numbers vocabulary, grammar and Deaf Culture. The curriculum includes handouts, dialogues, classroom activities and practice. Come join us for a fun learning experience. Instructor: Valerie Joplin. PV Recreation Center, Room 1.
