| | Community Park is South Chico's premier public recreation facility providing an ideal setting for recreational sports, public outings and leisure activities. Barbecues and picnic areas compliment family outings with playground equipment for two age groups. The Multi-Purpose Fields are utilized by CARD programs, the Chico Youth Soccer League, La Crosse and Field Hockey. The lighted tennis courts were recently resurfaced in the fashion of the U.S. Open with the help of a Grant received from the USTA. | |
