Math Camp
Did you know Math can be really fun? Join us for two weeks of camp where you will learn fundamental math skills and problem solving strategies. Lead by credentialed teachers, campers will be divided into two age groups so students may better focus on grade level skills. Third and fourth grade students will focus on multiplication and division, while fifth and sixth grade students will work on fractions, decimals, percents, ratios, algebra, geometry and positive and negative integers. Chess Camp
Checkmate! Join CARD's first ever chess camp and learn tricks and traps that will stump your opponent. Learn tactics and strategies through demonstrated examples, and then try them out on your friends. Material will range from opening principles to end game fundamentals. Supply fee of $8 payable to the instructor on the first day of camp includes the book Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess. Take your chess to the next level! CARD Community Center, Room 3.

Let's Get Growing Garden Camp
Insects, earthworms, crafts, cooking, planting and playing: What more could you want in a garden camp? You are sure to have fun and learn a lot about gardening and nature. This year, we will take a field trip to a nearby grocery store to sample lots of yummy fresh fruits and vegetables, and will then end the day with a picnic and games at Community Park. Make sure to wear clothes that can get dirty, since we will be doing hands-on gardening. A healthy snack will be provided each day. There is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor the first day of camp. Instructor: Debra Abbott. Dorothy Johnson Center, Walnut Room.

Camp Cuisine
Does your child like to hang out in the kitchen and help you cook? This very popular camp will expose your child to cooking instruction, food preparation and table presentation. Each day is filled with cooking projects that are kid friendly and tasty. Field trips and participant made cookbook included. Friday includes a lunch for parents made by the participants. Camp Orchard Lanes
