Our Time Together: Parent/Child program

We all love to watch our children blossom and grow. CARD has expanded it's Our Time Together class and now offering a more extensive toddler program. Our goal is to offer quality recreational programming that is age appropriate for young children. Providing an opportunity for you and your infant to PLAY together is the first step to a lifetime of recreational opportunities. The benefits are endless. Not only are our classes a wonderful bonding opportunity for you and your child, they are an excellent way to meet new friends, introduce your child to other children and find others that will support you through the exciting adventure of parenthood. Each class will also offer an educational component in the form of a monthly evening lecture that will touch on topics such as stages of development, challenges parents encounter, and how to navigate through them.  We hope you enjoy our expanded offerings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the structure of the class? Each day the classroom will be set up with developmental age appropriate toys and activities that parents can do with their child. The teachers will be there to assist parents and children in participation.

How do I register for a class? Simply choose the class that is appropriate for the age of your child. Online registration is available until the class is full. Once a class is  full, a waiting list will be established and  customers will be contacted as spaces open.

How long is the session? This is an ongoing class. Once you are registered, you will remain registered until you notify us that your child will no longer attend. The fee for the class is due on the last Friday of each month. Should you choose not to continue, you simply notify the CARD office so we can contact the next person on the waiting list.

How many teachers are there for the class? We have one director and one assistant for each class. Each teacher is hand selected for their experience working with young children. Staff are fingerprinted.

Do I need to stay with my child during class? Yes. This class is formatted as a parent/child class. The goal of the class is to give parents an opportunity to bond, meet other parents that have children the same age as yours and provide parent support.

Is there a single day option? YES! We have opened single day options in all of our Our Time Together Classes. There are limited single day options, so register early. The single day option is $30 per month.

Tiny Tots

A great first classroom experience for your child! This is the same great class with just a few changes and additions. We have two teachers planning fun and age appropriate activities for your child. While participating in games, music, crafts, stories and play, your child will benefit from this social environment. Our teachers encourage working with others, sharing and taking turns. Our dedicated preschool room and playground make this a perfect place for your child's first preschool experience.

·         Children must be potty trained before attending class.

·         Parents are asked to provide snack for the class, once every other month.

·         Parent participation is not required, but interested parents may sign up to volunteer in the classroom.

Kinder Readiness
Give your child a jump start to Kindergarten. If your child will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2011, this is the perfect program for you. Through play, children will be introduced to handwriting, basic math concepts, language and phonics. Your child will leave class with confidence in their abilities, improved social skills and an enthusiasm for learning.
