Experience the Portland Rose Festival, the second largest all-floral parade in North America and the single-largest spectator event in Oregon. Your trip begins when you fly to Portland, where you will meet your tour director and transfer to your hotel for a leisurely five night stay. Enjoy a Portland City tour including Washington Park with its famous International Rose Test Garden and the World Forestry Center Discovery Museum, a motor coach visit to the Mt. Around San Francisco Bay
This three day, two night tour includes some of the highlights around the Bay. Your journey begins as you are transported by motor coach to Mare Island in Vallejo with a tour of the island and a stop at St. Peter's Chapel to view the 29 Tiffany designed stained glass windows. Travel continues to Sonoma for a no host lunch and a visit to Sonoma Mission. Next it's on to General Vallejo's home for a guided tour. This evening, we will check into a Marin County Hotel for a 2 night stay. Day two will include a tour of Angel Island and the Marin County Civic Center. Day three begins with a guided tour of the San Francisco City Hall, then on to the California Culinary Academy for a tour and hosted lunch. Swiss Highlights
After an overnight flight to Switzerland, you will check into the Montreux Palace on the shore of Lake Geneva for 6 nights. This is the trip for you if you want to spend time in Rome and Tuscany. This trip begins with transfers from Chico to Sacramento where your flight will transport you to Rome for an overnight stay. After breakfast, you will be transported aboard a motorcoach to the beautiful hilltop town of Assisi. After enjoying the Basilica of St. Francis and free time in this town, your journey will continue through into Tuscany. You will spend four nights amongst the gentle rolling vine clad hills in Montecatini Terme. From your hotel, you will take in the daily sites of Pisa, Lucca, Florence and the heart of Tuscany, Siena.
