Please make sure you register early as many trips get canceled due to lack of enrollment 1 week prior to the trip registration deadline.
REFUND POLICY
All cancellations must be made to the CARD Office and not to the tour escort. In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be based on the cost to CARD at the time the cancellation is made, i.e.: hotels, meals, admissions, etc. Last date for cancellation/refund is thirty (30) days prior to scheduled tour, unless another date is listed. There is a $10.00 processing fee for all refunds.
 
Rooftop Garden Tour and Fisherman's Wharf
Revel in nature atop San Francisco’s downtown rooftops.  The 2 hour garden tour allows participants to stake out a spot of sunshine amidst daylilies and abundant greenery.  Beautiful views of the city’s treasured landmarks will elevate your spirits before a no-host lunch and shopping at Fisherman’s Wharf.

Mellow Backpacking: Grouse Lake Recreation Area
Escape the valley heat for backpacking the way it was meant to be-lots of lakes, few people, mountain wildflowers and Sierra stars.  This trip is perfect for beginners! In addition to gaining an overview of basic backpacking skills, we will prepare gourmet meals, swim and fish in mountain lakes and learn the natural history of TahoeNational Forest.  Food and group camping gear will be provided.  Participants must attend a  pre-trip meeting on the evening of July 31.  Time and location will be announced. It’s the Battle of the Bay!  Join us at AT&TPark in San Francisco when the Giants take on the Oakland A’s or the Dodgers.  Peanuts, cracker jacks and ice cold sodas will be served!

Luscious, tempestuous and thoroughly loverly, this Lerner & Loewe masterpiece brings to life Eliza Doolittle, an uncommon Cockney flower girl shop, who is taken under the tutelage of the arrogant Henry Higgins as he attempts to teach her proper diction and pass her off as a lady.  The delightful score includes “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Get Me to the Church on Time” and so many others. California Musical Theatre in Sacramento.
