| | “Sew Cute” Christmas Ornaments - NEW
Trim your tree in adorable felt and fabric ornaments with a home spun look. Choose a variety of shapes and motifs such as gingerbread people, stars, hearts or reindeer. Students will complete as many ornaments as they can in 2 hours, and will learn fun and simple techniques to make more at home! This is a great class for kids to make gifts for family and friends! Parents are encouraged to enroll in the class with their children. All sewing levels welcome. There is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the class.

| | Sewing Basics I
Have you always wanted to learn to sew, but don’t know where to start? This is the perfect class to learn the basics of using a sewing machine, threading the machine, winding the bobbin, straight stitch, zig-zag stitch, backtack and turning a corner. Using sewing machines in class, students will complete at least one beginning sewing project (more as time permits.) There is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting.

Now that you have the basics down, it is time to take it to the next level! This class builds upon Sewing Basics I and will develop students’ skills in using seam allowance, sewing curved seams, tips for pinning fabric and pressing fabrics, plus an introduction to commercial patterns. Students must have completed Sewing Basics I. There is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting.

| | Handmade Gifts Galore - Early Christmas Presents- NEW
Get a head start on those Christmas presents. Participants will have the choice of making refrigerator magnets, Christmas ornaments, Keepsake boxes, picture frames and book markers. We will discuss and learn composition, techniques for pasting, gluing and cutting. Come enjoy a fun, creative and relaxed environment. This is a wonderful class for parents to take with their kids. Discovery Collage Workshop - NEW
Learn the basics of collage. Learn to create backgrounds with texture, paper and glaze. Discuss and learn about composition and how to use storytelling to enhance your composition. Begin by bringing items to class to help create your theme/composition your favorite pictures, odd images, paper, images from magazines and words. Each student will be given a canvas to use as the foundation of their collage. So bring your creative spirits and skills and get ready to have some fun using your imagination. This is a wonderful class for parents to take with their kids. There is a $15 supply fee payable to the instructor at the class.

Parents Take the Day and Go Shopping-Arts & Crafts for the Kids - NEW
Parents this is a special day for you. Get a head start on all that holiday shopping; find those sales and deals, while your kids are in a safe artistically enriched environment. There will be four to five tables set-up for kids to experience cartooning, crafts, watercolor, drawing and collage. Space is limited so reserve your place early. There is a $7 supply fee payable to the instructor at the class.
