Re-Fashion Mini Camp
Take something old and make it new! We start with a trip to the thrift store to find second-hand items that can be creatively 're-fashioned'. We will focus on clothing quality and the 'recyclability' of the items we find, as well as some principals of design and color. Then back to the Green Dot studio to cut, sew and trim to our heart's content. You will learn about recycling clothing while honing your clothing construction and design skills. There is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting. Sewing machines are provided. Instructor: Julie DeMaggio. Green Dot Designer's Lounge, 530 Broadway.
