Are you interested in building things? In this four-day construction camp, we will cover safety in construction as well as key building skills to create a cool project campers can take home! Additionally, campers will “build” skills in teamwork, following directions and showing initiative.

Additionally, campers will “build” skills in teamwork, following directions and showing initiative. Students will also explore careers in construction.

In this four-day camp, campers will learn how to create amazing digital photography and enhance their photos in Adobe Photoshop. Students will build up their digital photography techniques first, then transition to developing their software and editing skills. By the end of the camp, students will have a portfolio of professionally shot and edited photographs to take home, and an understanding of how the photography industry works.

Do you love fashion? Do you enjoy creating things out of fabric? “Upcycling” is the next big thing in Sustainable Fashion! In this camp, we explore the benefits of upcycling in regards to the environment, the pros and cons of “fast fashion,” and gain the knowledge and skills to create one-of-a-kind clothing.

Do you love taking care of animals? Would you like to learn some skills related to being a veterinarian? In this four-day camp, students will explore the basics of veterinary animal care, including grooming and handling, animal and breed identification, and practicing the proper techniques of suturing and injecting medicine.

This class is for students who want to learn to sew or improve the skills they already possess. Students will learn the basics of hand sewing (replacing a button, hemming, and simple mending), be introduced to the use of a sewing machine, and make simple projects of personal choice as well as for local nonprofits in our community.

In this camp, we will cover the steps to go from dreams to reality, including brainstorming business ideas, marketing your idea and start-up requirements.
