Come explore your creativity, drawing and collaging skills in this hands-on art workshop.  Together we’ll explore ways to use collaging techniques to express yourself through journaling. You will learn exciting mixed-media techniques that include using assemblage collage, paper quilting, abstract backgrounds, and paper mosaics to create your own art journal. You'll be taught cutting, ripping and gluing skills to develop your collage aesthetics. And together we will do daily drawing practices to strengthen our artistry. You will receive a mixed media sketchbook and other art supplies to get you started on your art journaling journey. Students should bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Any and all magazine donations would be much appreciated! Material fee of $25 payable on the first day-CASH ONLY PLEASE.
