Pie Dough. Those two words can evoke fear in the most seasoned bakers but wait! It’s easier than you think, with no fancy equipment needed. Master the art of tender and flaky pastry dough, one pie at a time. We’ll blind bake a pie crust, learn how to make a creamy custard filling, and discover how to make a perfect double crusted fruit pie. We’ll also look at fancy pastry edge crimping techniques and share sensational recipes. You will make and bake your own pie in class to take home for sharing. There is a $30 grocery and supply fee, payable to instructor at class.
