CARD is excited to offer Esports Camps & Leagues featuring the amazing instruction and management of eHudl! eHdul is focused on providing an enhanced user experience for our community. From players, parents, teachers, coaches, to administrators, eHudl is committed to providing an ecosystem where students can play, inspire, and build themselves and others up through eSports as gamers and or content creators.

VIRTUAL CAMPS

These weeklong camps will be streamed directly to you via zoom, and include STEM accredited curriculum, game play, physical fitness breaks and information (importance of stretching, body weight exercises, progress tracking), and life skill integration (fair play, communication, and stress management). Rocket League Virtual Camp featuring Shoutcasting and Content Creation

Campers will be taught Rocket League strategies, beginning and intermediate moves, and the terminology necessary to shoutcast Rocket League games like professional esports commentators (click here to see an example of professional shoutcasters). Your child will learn how to set up a private stream and articulate live game footage for Rocket League fans. Campers will also play in Rocket League competitions, learn how to create highlights of their game play, learn life readiness skills, and be introduced to physical fitness exercises. Improved communication, creativity, teamwork, esports career knowledge and content creation are just some of the benefits of this camp. This camp is for beginners to intermediate gamers.

VIRTUAL CAMP REQUIREMENTS (provided by camper):

  • Windows PC, Xbox 1/S/X, PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch
  • Rocket League (must be downloaded on unit of play before camp starts).
    Campers must come to camp with a Rocket League Account, Epic ID and Login information.
  • Stable internet connection with access to Zoom Video Conferencing (Zoom can be a on mobile phone, tablet, or computer but must have video capabilities).

WHAT CAMPERS WILL LEARN (featuring Eduhl coaches)

  • Develop shout casting and video editing skills
  • Develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Receive esports career path and life readiness training though our STEM accredited curriculum
  • Fitness – Stretching, body weight exercises, and progress tracking strategies
  • Life Readiness Development - Fair Play, Integrity, Stress Management, Respect, Self-Belief, and Teamwork
  • Career Path- Shoutcasting/Video Editing and its role in esports, content creation, video editing
  • Game Play – Learn strategies, tactics, and mechanics for Rocket League play
  • 10 hours of direct instruction, plus 5 hours of monitored self-paced project development.

Minecraft Java Virtual Camp featuring Game Design

Game Design Java Minecraft Camp is specifically for campers who use a Personal Computer (Windows 10) or Mac and have the Minecraft Java Edition installed. Minecraft is a wonderful tool that can be used to stimulate your child’s mind and enable them to think outside the box. This camp will focus on game design with Minecraft. Your child will dive into the fundamentals of creating their own levels in a wide-open world, learning level design and problem-solving while building extraordinary environments. Campers will also play in Minecraft competitions, learn life readiness skills, and be introduced to physical fitness exercises. Improved critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and creativity are just some of the benefits of this camp.

  • Utilize command blocks to enhance maps
  • Receive esports career path and life readiness training though our STEM accredited curriculum
  • Fitness – Stretching, body weight exercises, and progress tracking strategies
  • Life Readiness Development - Fair Play, Integrity, Stress Management, Respect, Self-Belief, and Teamwork
  • Career Path- Game design and it's role in esports.
  • Game Play – Learn strategies, tactics, and mechanics for Minecraft game design
  • 10 hours of direct instruction, plus 5 hours of monitored self-paced project development.

Fortnite Virtual Camp featuring Graphic Design

This camp will focus on graphic design in Fortnite Creative Mode. Campers will create a personal server and design their own island by using assets, props and building elements. Campers learn how to place and remove these assets by using a special in-game device that includes a variety of commands such as copy, paste, delete, and rotate. Players will learn how to adjust settings for their game by using the My Island menu which allows campers to adjust the game type, game settings, UI settings, island tools, description, and player permissions. Through game play, campers will learn new tactics, strategies, and mechanics that will help them improve in all aspects of Fortnite. Your child will also be introduced to physical fitness exercises, life readiness skills and esports careers.

This camp is for beginners to intermediate gamers.
