Players and teams will compete in a series of Minecraft mini-games:

  • Build battles – A competitive gameplay where players are given a specific theme (like building a city) and then are required to build that theme within a specified time period.
  • Battle Royal - This mini-game is a "loot and survive" style game. You must try your best to find chests with weapons and tools and fight to be the last one standing. To prevent people from hiding in spots like houses, there is a border that closes in the map slowly. If you're outside of the border, you will take little damage over time
  • Skywars - One of the longest-running PvP minigames in Minecraft where individuals or teams battle each other for supremacy of floating islands.
  • Bedwars -  A fun PvP concept in which players spawn on a map, and their goal is to defeat others by destroying their beds. Until a player's bed is destroyed, they can keep coming back to life.

Box fighting is a style of fighting used by professional Fortnite players and will help gamers improve their play in Battle Royal. Box fighting allows players to essentially create structures that can be manipulated through edits and resets to create advantages for offensive attacks or defensive tactics. These skills improve spatial awareness, strategic planning, critical thinking and are a great way to socialize with like-minded gamers.

Zone wars are a fun and interactive version of Fortnite where players face off against each other on a custom-built map. The safety zone on the map shrinks, which forces players into a small area and creates an action-packed experience. This style of play will improve the gamers' Fortnite skills and will surely improve their play in Battle Royal. This event is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games, Inc.
