Whether just beginning or wanting to improve your art talents, this camp will cover the fundamentals with an emphasis on fun and encouragement of creativity. Basic principles of design and drawing, color mixing and composition will be covered.  Activities include charcoal drawing, cartooning, painting with watercolor and tempera, dot art with acrylics and scratch art. Information on the history of art will be covered while learning about various artists and their styles.  Material fee of $40 payable on the first day-CASH ONLY PLEASE.  Instructor Janet Lombardi Blixt, voted best Chico artist and instructor for many years by the CN&R.
