Learn How to be a DJ!

May contain: electronics, speaker, desk, furniture, table, accessories, glasses, person, computer, laptop, pc, clothing, hat, footwear, and sandal

DJ-ing is probably one of the most misunderstood instruments there is. While this instrument, and yes it is an instrument, is one of the easiest to get started, the mastery of all the different mixing techniques, and in-depth knowledge of the songs you play in order to create a great set, makes DJ-ing an incredible way to be creative and express your love and passion for music. Each week students will learn a new technique in class and then go home and apply it to the current set they are working on building. The DJ Crew hosts a dance party the last Friday of the month from 5:30-7:30 pm where each student has the opportunity to perform a set that they create.

*In order for students to practice at home, it is helpful if they have access to an iPad or computer in which they download a practice app or software.
