Level Two: Fundamental Aquatic Skills (Guppy)

This level marks the beginning of true locomotion skills. Students learn to float without support and recover to a vertical position. Students further develop simultaneous and alternating arm and leg actions on front and back.  These actions lay the foundation for further stroke development. Prerequisite: Students should already be able to enter the water independently and travel at least 5 yards. In addition, students should be able to glide on their front at least two body lengths without instructor assistance. (Suggested ages: 6-9 years)

Lesson Fee: $55/$28**
