Programming with Drones
Summer Camp

Learn the basics of block coding...using drones! Using a tiny drone called a “Quadcopter”, students will explore the fundamentals of flight to understand how drones fly.
They’ll also learn about loops, conditional statements and variables through the use of “Blockly”, a GUI-based programming language. By the end of the week, students will be able to make their drone fly autonomously as well as complete various missions.
- Opportunities will be given to fly a number of different types of drone, from small First Person View (FPV) style to larger camera platforms.
- Students would also be shown what they would need to become a licensed Drone Pilot.
