Taming Your Dragon: Stress Reduction Strategies that Work 

Stress is rising at alarming rates, up 20% in the last 30 years, effecting health and happiness. It is estimated, 70- 90% of healthcare visits are stress related. We will explore the latest research and proven techniques to combat stress. Topics include; Binaural and isochronic sounds, PMR (Progressive Muscle Relaxation,) HRV (Heart Rate Variability,) Autogenic Training, mindfulness, meditation, the role of exercise, diet and stress. Students will receive copies of all the tools and techniques presented in class.  Instructor: Rich Varlinsky. CARD Community Center.  Registration required.
