Watercolor for Beginners

This very beginning watercolor painting class is for those who have never picked up a paint brush, or those whose past efforts have let to disappointment.  Instruction will include easy to follow, step-by-step demonstrations, practice, and positive affirmations.  Students will learn the basics of water, paper, pigment, color, mixing, blending, highlighting, shading dimension, shortcuts, display and perspective.  Focus will be on enjoyment, developing skills, creativity and personal confidence while completing frameable quality paintings each session.  Basic supplies will be available for a supply fee of $20, payable to the instructor at the first class.  This includes a paint pallet, 8 quality watercolors, three brushes, a pencil, watercolor paper, stabilizer board, color wheel sample templates, salt and painter’s tape.  The instructor, Suzanne Wilson, is a teacher and a crafter, rather than a professional artist. She is full of tips and tricks to make magic for beginners.
