Women and Money: Take Control of Your Finances

Women often face unique financial circumstances in their lives. Women have longer life expectancies, are more likely to be living on their own, and are more often conservative investors than men. More and more women find themselves having to make important financial decisions with little preparation. This series consists of 2 classes and will cover the principles of investing and financial planning, including retirement savings, retirement income, asset allocation, diversification, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, estate planning and financial scams. This class is only for women!

What's New to Medicare 2019?

The 2018 Annual Election Period to select your Medicare plans (Part D drug plans and Part C Medicare Advantage plans) for 2019 begins on Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7, 2018. Passages Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) is providing helpful free Medicare workshops. Registration is required by calling 898-6716. Family members or caregivers are welcome to attend. Medicare's annual enrollment period is only for a short time. Seating is limited. Lakeside Pavilion.
