Inspired by the heartwarming movie Leap! This ballet dance camp is designed for kids who dream of dancing their way to greatness! Campers will embark on a magical journey of creativity, determination, and grace, all while learning the fundamentals of ballet and building the skills needed to become a wonderful dancer.

During our week together, we will do a variety of classic camp crafts. We will make beaded animal keychains, beaded bracelets, and learn to use basic bead looms. Students will also weave small bags, make woven mandalas, and tie-dye bandanas. There will be lots of variety and explorations of different materials in this camp.

Get out in nature and unleash your creativity this summer! This hands-on camp is perfect for young LEGO enthusiasts who love to build, imagine, and explore. We will be taking daily walks to Bidwell Park to build forts and play along the creek before we return to the studio to build with Legos. Kids will participate in nature and Lego building challenges and competitions as well as Lego themed craft projects.

This cheerleading camp is designed to enhance your child’s coordination, confidence, and flexibility in a non-competitive environment, with the emphasis on FUN! Camp will start with a warm-up to music followed by instruction with constant movement and learning. Campers will learn basic movements, jumps, cheers, stunts, and a routine to music. There will be a mini rally for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Kids can’t help but have fun, get dirty and come home worn out from all the activity that takes place in Hooker Oak Park by upper Bidwell Park. The week is spent singing camp songs, going on nature hikes, playing games and cooling off in the water.

This program provides outdoor exploration, builds friendships, and promotes a love for nature! Campers enjoy hands-on natural science labs, up-close animal visits, nature walks, arts and crafts, building tree forts, swimming in Big Chico Creek and camp BBQ’s every Friday.

Design and build your own miniature dream house! In this 5-day art camp, students will create, furnish, and decorate their own miniature cardboard modular houses. Students will enjoy this workshop style learning environment where they can select the materials they want to bring their ideas to life. Emphasis on problem-solving and knowledge of materials and tools.

Our cheer instructor will work with your beginner or experienced cheerleader. Learn and review the basics skills and terminology. More experienced cheerleaders can also work on the skills they want to achieve. Practice motions, jumps, tumbling, dance as well as strength and flexibility exercises.

Does your child love fairies, gnomes, woodland animals, and nature? Join us for this magical immersive fairy garden inspired camp. During this 5-day art camp, students will create a living fairy garden-scape to take home with handmade figurines, live plants, moss, rocks, and fairy houses. Students will enjoy this workshop style learning environment where they can select the materials they want to bring their ideas to life.

Let your imagination run wild in this creative drawing camp! Campers will learn how to draw fantasy characters, magical creatures, and enchanted worlds. We'll use different materials like colored pencils, pens, and watercolors to bring life to our drawings. By the end of the week, we will work on combining our creations together to make a short comic or illustrated story.

Who doesn't love food and fluffy creatures? In this camp, we will make a variety of felt and fabric food through sewing, gluing and needle felting. We will also make pom-pom animals and other fuzzy creations. Designs can be turned into jewelry, mobiles, magnets, and pins. There will be guided instructions for specific food and animals as well as lots of room for creativity and improvisation.

Playing games is super fun, but kids also learn so much about strategy, competition, sportsmanship, teamwork and even math! We'll play new games, group games, card games, dice games, active games, trivia, etc.

Let your creativity take flight as we dream up endless possibilities. Campers will learn the art of hand sewing to craft a unique and imaginative prop designed for movement and expression. Once their props are complete, it’s time to dance!

The ministry of magic is pleased to offer this camp for aspiring wizards. Young wizards will take classes in the following studies: Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, History of Hogwarts and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Extracurricular activities will include quidditch.

Crafty kiddos, who love stuffies and imaginary play, will have a blast at this 4-day art camp. Students can bring their small stuffies to camp and create fun stuffie accessories like cute cardboard houses, beds, collars, outfits, etc. Students will enjoy the workshop style learning environment where they can select the materials they want to bring their ideas to life.

A summer dance intensive right here in Chico with the best of the best home-grown talent! Many Inspire alumni have gone on to professional careers in choreography and dance education and now they are all coming together for one week to work with you!!! Contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, aerial silks, and so much more! Dancers will get a taste of what is current in the industry and what dance at Inspire can be! Beginning through Advanced technique levels will be taught in multiple dance styles and genres. The day will start with a full body warm up followed by instruction in the dance styles that will cover technical skills and choreography.

A “Zine,” short for magazine, is a mini handmade art booklet. A zine could have a story inside, poetry, pictures, comics, drawings, collages, recipes, or any creative thing! In this camp we’ll learn more about zine making and hand stitching a homemade booklet full of our art and stories.

This camp is designed for students to learn everything about beauty, but that true beauty comes from within. Each student will work on a mannequin head and wig to create the ultimate look. They will dye, cut and style their own wig to take home. Students will also learn makeup application, and nail techniques. Camp will be taught in an uplifting, affirmation setting encouraging students to be themselves but add whatever flair they want. Camp will culminate in students starring in their own fashion show to show off the new looks they created!

Students will have fun creating with paint and drawing materials under the guidance of Janet Lombardi Blixt. The focus will be on individual creativity and exploration of materials. Graphite, charcoal, tempra, and watercolor paints will be some of the mediums.

Little Ninjas wrestling will include mat games, tumbling, basic wrestling instruction and live wrestling. Focus will be on fun while teaching the basic skills in the sport of wrestling.

Every baker needs the right accessories. Learn basic sewing skills while making your own tortilla warmer, hot pad, chef hat and apron. You’ll be ready to get cooking!

This math camp celebrates the many different ways that we can see and understand mathematical ideas. Come learn how math is an open, creative, and visual subject. Our camp will show you that every problem can be seen and solved differently.

Whether you're a beginner just getting started or have some experience under your belt, this camp is perfect for you. Our program covers the fundamentals of mountain biking, trail safety, and the importance of being respectful on the trails in Upper and Lower Park. Most importantly, we focus on having fun while riding! 

Join us for an amazing week of young artists gathering to grow their voice, acting, and dance skills and celebrate their unique selves. Students will study proper musical theatre voice technique from credentialed and certified vocal instructors, observe master classes led by musical theatre professionals, and explore musical theater styles! Solo and ensemble techniques will be learned.

Each day begins with an inspiring outdoor journey to Bidwell Park where campers explore the beauty of nature to spark their creativity. Paint Dot & Splash Camp at Chico Creative is a fun-filled, hands-on adventure where kids can get creative with dot painting, guided painting, and pour painting! Young artists will join art instructor Jessica Mae, in making mesmerizing dot patterns, follow step-by-step instructions to create masterpieces on canvas, and experiment with swirling, flowing paint techniques to create one-of-a-kind artwork.

During our week together, we will explore a variety of paper crafts, including paper making, collage, mini zine making, origami, basic bookbinding, and sculpting using paper clay. There will be guided instruction as well as lots of room for creativity and improvisation.

Pastel & Flipbook Imagination Camp at Chico Creative is an artistic adventure where kids bring their ideas to life through drawing, flipbooks, and pastels! Young artists will join art instructor Jessica Mae, as they explore shading and blending with pastels, experiment with different drawing techniques, and even create their own mini flipbook animations.

The petite bakery camp is a fun-filled delicious adventure! The bakers will start off with naming their bakery, designing the look, and choosing their themed treats. During the week, bakers will learn how to bake and decorate cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and brownies! On the last day of camp, they will open for business! Parents are encouraged to come visit the kid’s bakeries and try their delicious treats. Please bring a few dollars, as the last part of camp will be going over their profits as a business and they will bring a little hard-earned money home!
