CARD Summer Tradition “Movies in the Park” is Back on Saturday, August 26th with Top Gun: Maverick

Grab your family and friends and pack your blankets because Chico Area Recreation and Park District is back with a favorite summertime tradition “Movies in the Park.” Saturday, August 26th CARD will have a special showing of the highly anticipated sequel, Top Gun: Maverick at Wildwood Park.

Before the movie, CARD will host a live music pre-show with local band Emma and Will at 6 P.M., along with fun activities and services hosted by event sponsors, Chico Air Museum, Members 1st Credit Union, and Culligan Water. Families can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, and crafts. Woodstock’s Pizza will be on-hand selling tasty slices and soda. Culligan of Chico will be there to keep everyone hydrated with their water station.

The movie starts at dusk, just before 8 P.M., and admission is free. Make sure to claim your spot to relax and enjoy the movie under the stars! Pack a blanket, bug spray, and a flashlight.
