CARD Summer Tradition “Movies in the Park” is Back on Saturday, May 6th with Top Gun: Maverick

Grab your family and friends and pack your blankets because Chico Area Recreation and Park District is back with a favorite summertime tradition “Movies in the Park.” Saturday, May 6th CARD will have a special showing of the highly anticipated sequel, Top Gun: Maverick at Wildwood Park.

Before the movie, CARD will host a live music pre-show with local band Emma and Will at 6 P.M., along with fun activities like bounce houses, face painting, and several food trucks will be on-hand selling tasty street eats and sweet treats.

The movie starts at dusk–just before 8 P.M., and admission is free. Make sure to claim your spot to relax and enjoy the movie under the stars! Pack a blanket, bug spray, and a flashlight. Guests are encouraged to bring low-back chairs or blankets for seating to ensure everyone can see the show.
