This outdoor based program runs on the Chico Unified schedule and provides outdoor recreation such as swimming in Big Chico Creek (weather permitting). In addition to freeplay, science, craft and games, children have the opportunity to go on nature walks, build tree forts, attend live animal presentations and grow connections with their peers and nature. We hope to see you there!

Don’t forget about our Parkview Pick Up! If your child attends Parkview, we have a staff member walk them to the Nature Center.

Fees: Enrollment is for the school year, billing is on a month-to-month basis. Monthly fees vary based on the number of days of care. The 2022/23 school year fee is $13.50 per day. CARD does not pro-rate for days unattended.
