Celebrate Spring at the 61st Annual Spring Jamboree in Chico

The Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD) is excited to announce its 61st Annual Spring Jamboree, happening on Saturday, March 30th, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This cherished community event invites families from Chico and surrounding areas to welcome spring with a day full of fun and entertainment at Sycamore Field and Caper Acres.

This year’s Spring Jamboree is packed with activities that everyone in the family can enjoy. Highlights include a special spring-themed scavenger hunt that promises fun prizes and an adventure through the picturesque Sycamore Field and Caper Acres. But the fun doesn’t stop there! The event features live music performances by local talents, Emma & Will and Reece Thompson, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of springtime enjoyment.

Kids and families can look forward to an array of activities including:

Spring-themed crafts to spark creativity
A visit from the Easter Bunny for that essential photo op
Free photo booth for photos with family & friends
Exciting yard games, bounce houses, and face painting
An adorable mini petting zoo featuring bunnies, chickens, and baby goats
Create and take home a mini handmade floral arrangement
A variety of delicious offerings from food trucks such as Hoff Dogs, Sisters Mobile Bar & Treats, Let’s Play Cafe, Corning Sweets, and Wills Catering
Free bike valet service, encouraging families to enjoy a sustainable and fun way to arrive at the event
