Are you interested in making movies? Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to be a cinematographer, a video editor, or a director? Come join the next generation of Chico film makers. Learn video making techniques from accomplished film makers, teachers, and students. Students will be given a prompt and work in small groups to create a short film.

This math camp celebrates the many different ways that we can see and understand mathematical ideas. Come learn how math is an open, creative, and visual subject. Our camp will show you that every problem can be seen and solved differently.

Join us for an amazing week of young artists gathering to grow their voice, acting, and dance skills and celebrate their unique selves. Students will study proper musical theatre voice technique from credentialed and certified vocal instructors, observe master classes led by musical theatre professionals, and explore musical theater styles! Solo and ensemble techniques will be learned.

Have you ever wanted to play in a rock band!? Pop and Rock Band Camp combines the interests and talents of student musicians who play guitar, drums, bass, keyboards, and/or sing. The camp, for intermediate to advanced, offers the opportunity for student musicians to learn how to play and perform classic and current pop and rock songs.

Join us for a week of learning the core elements of robotics. You will put your new skills to the test in our mini competition at the end of the week! Students will be placed in teams, led by Inspire’s Robotics Team Alumni in designing, building, and operating a robot in an exciting game at the end of the week! If you participated last summer, the game will be different so we would love for you to join us again! 

A summer dance intensive right here in Chico with the best of the best home grown talent! Many Inspire alumni have gone on to professional careers in choreography and dance education and now they are all coming together for one week to work with you! Contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, and so much more.

Our performing arts program is supported by a very rich technical theater department. Participants will be involved in every aspect of stagecraft, from costuming and make-up, to lighting, sound, props and set design and construction. We will learn beginning design-work on Inspire’s fall production the The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical and learn about hanging lights and lighting design for our summer dance intensive.

Welcome to the ultimate summer camp for teens where fun meets wellness! This week-long adventure will be packed with laughter, exploration, and relaxation. Mornings will be filled with giggles and downward dogs during our yoga sessions, where you'll stretch, bend, and maybe even discover your inner yogi superstar. We’ll practice a variety of yoga styles at a level that can be enjoyed by everyone, where no experience is necessary and those with more experience can challenge themselves in a safe and supported way.
