Sports Institutes (grades K-9th)

Welcome to the CARD Sports Insitute ( aka: CSI)! Each session will focus on developing individual skills, with progression of fundamentals, footwork, and technique. Each day will contain a structured breakdown, and development curriculum for each of our athletes based on the selected sport.

  • Mondays (tee-ball), Thursdays (flag football) & Fridays (soccer): "Arron Ray Clark Memorial Field House" gym and grassy area in Community Park, 1900 Dr. MLK Jr. Parkway
  • Tuesdays (soccer & volleyball), Wednesays (basketball): Dorothy F. Johnson Park, 775 East 16th St.

COVID-19 Requirements:

  • Only participants and staff are allowed inside the gym. Program will only be in the gym for check in & check out (no physical activity will take place inside the gym)
  • For specific requirements due to COVID-19, please visit www.chicorec.com/child-care-fall-2020.
  • 6 feet distancing will be maintained between participants.
  • Masks are required at all times when inside. Masks are optional if we are outside, and in a high exertion activitiy (but must be worn during transitions, breaks low exertions activities, and at all times while inside the gym)

What to Bring to Sports Institute:

  • Face Mask
  • Water
  • Athletic Clothing & Shoes, Layers of clothing to stay comfortable
  • OPTIONAL: Sports Specific Equipment (make sure it is clearly labelled)

Dates: All programs are full for November/December except for the ones below. We will release more sessions in December to run in January/February.
